FinanceJoining Abbey Finance at Trainee Accountant level, you'll have the opportunity to gain high-level experience in a dynamic environment - driving business performance and supporting change management initiatives. Learning OpportunitiesWe'll give you support to study for a professional qualification from ACCA or CIMA. We'll also provide a two-year programme consisting of four rotations. With a mentor to offer support and guidance, we'll tailor training to suit your interests, meet business needs and give you a full and varied overview of Abbey Finance. Possible rotations include: Group Projects; the Cost Management Unit; Financial Management Information and Group Reporting; Income Reporting; Finance Shared Service Centre; Reporting & Control. In addition to hands-on work experience, you'll have access to the extensive technical and personal skills development programme that is available to all Abbey Finance staff. And during the second year of your programme, you'll undertake three months' training in the Abbey Management Development Programme. QualificationsYou'll require either a numerical degree or work experience demonstrating high numerical ability. What we're looking forWe're looking for people with the resilience and self-motivation to drive their own careers in a supportive but demanding environment. So you'll need to be an innovative and proactive team player with strong presentation and communication skills. And although the roles are based in London, you'll need the flexibility to travel to our offices in Milton Keynes. The futureOn completion of the two-year rotation, you'll work with your mentor to find a role within Finance that matches your aptitudes and meets your career development needs. |
